Optional Consultation Service

You may request that your thesis or dissertation be critiqued before submitting in your final copy to the University Archives.  During the consultation, a Special Collections and Archives staff member will check your thesis or dissertation to see if it meets all the formatting requirements specified in the manual.

We can remotely review the formatting of your electronic manuscript. Submit a draft of your thesis or dissertation using the Thesis/Dissertation Consultation Request Form. You can also ask any questions regarding the process or any formatting questions.

If you are submitting a paper manuscript, you MUST request an appointment for an in-person critique using the Thesis/Dissertation Consultation Request Form. In most cases a critique takes 15-20 minutes.
